Flying to Cluj-Napoca will get you in the center of the Transylvania region - where most of the best places are (except Timisoara and Bucharest) From London Gatwick or Luton you can fly WizzAir. There should be also Ryanair and BlueAir from other airports, but they might land in other cities.
